I picked Buddy up first thing in the morning and we headed to Raleigh for him to see a specialist. We needed to find out what this mass was that was pushing down his organs on the X-rays. 5 hours in Raleigh, blood work, x-ray and ultra sound later showed the mass was not a tumor (thank goodness!) but actually the internist felt it was a glob of fat. (Too bad we can't just take it out with liposuction) Blood work is perfect right down the middle, x-rays do not show anything else out of the ordinary... all tests actually show him to be a pretty healthy cat EXCEPT he is not eating. We have no idea why. He has a feeding tube, and boy he is not happy being in a crate at all. We hope he will decide to start eating again soon.
