Meet Snicker

Happy presidents day! Today we honor president Snicker!
President Snicker came to us in 2011 from the Cumberland County Animal Control Center in Cumberland County. This pound euthanizes over 11,000 animals per year so you can see how lucky he is to have made it out alive. He was very lucky to have some nice ladies working there that liked his friendly personality and went the extra mile to find a place for him instead of euthanizing him. He is super super friendly.
In 2015 Snicker developed a pneumothorax ( a life threatening infection in the chest.) He was rushed to the Critical Care animal hospital in Cary to try to save his life. 60% survive.
Chest tubes, feeding tubes, antibiotics and oxygen therapy saved his life!
We are so grateful that we were able to save sweet Snicker and it is all thanks to wonderful like you! Thank you all so much!
