Meet Peanut

Handsome peanut came to us in 2013 with his two brothers from a high kill shelter.

Volunteers grabbed them because they knew that animal control would have immediately put them down. They were very sick with upper respiratory infections which caused their blindness.

They were only 4 weeks old when they arrived so we had to get them healthy and weigh at least two pounds before they could have eye surgery.

About a month later they were finally big enough, we got them neutered and had their eyes done.

He is also DNA positive for leukemia, he is enjoying running the wheel in house 2 room 4 with his friend Chester!

It is because of wonderful people like you that we can do what we love and help sweet kitties just like peanut! Thank you all so much!
