Tips to help eliminate pet odors in your home

We all love our furry friends, but that doesn't mean we love their smells! Here are some ways you can get rid of some of your pets unpleasant scents!

The first, and most obvious tip is to bathe your pet. Regular bathes will help remove stinky remnants from your pets skin and fur. Most animals don't need to be bathed more than once a month. Certain breeds or pets with skin conditions may need bathed more often. 

Daily wipe down with a warm, damp towel after messy outdoor adventures can also help reduce odors and messes! 

Along with washing your pets, washing their beds, collars, leashes, harnesses, and fabric toys can help reduce unwanted odors! 

Washing our own pillows and blankets will also help, some of us let our pets on the couch or in our bed and after a while they can cause it to be a little stinky! 

Another effective way to reduce pet odor in the home is vacuuming and steam cleaning your carpets, this will help remove dust and dander, along with any other sneaky smelly!
