Breeds of Cats

Cats are one of the most popular pets in the world. They are very intelligent and fun to be around. There are many different kinds of cats, each with its own unique characteristics and personality. Some cats can climb trees, while others cannot. Some have long fur, while others have short fur. Cats come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors; there is something for everyone! There are over 80 cat breeds in the world today; each one has its own unique characteristics that make them special. The domestic cat (Felis Catus) is a small furry animal with short legs and ears that fold back against its head when it is cold or wet. It has a thick coat of hair that comes in many different colors, patterns and lengths depending on the specific breed of cat it is! There are three main types of cats: tabbies (short-haired), calicos (long-haired) and Abyssinians (a mix between tabbies & calicos).
Tabbies tend to be more outgoing than other two types of cats; they love being around people but aren’t as affectionate as calico or Abyssinian cats! Calico cats love to show off their ‘tricks’ by rolling around on their backs or jumping into air; they also love playing fetch with their owners!
Abyssinian kittens tend to be more reserved than the other two types but still enjoy being around people just as much as any other type of cat! The Siamese breed was created by crossing a domestic shorthair female named Kewpie with an Asian junglecat male named Chartchai in 1857 at Kewpie’s estate called “The Connoisseur” located outside Siam (now known as Thailand). The first kitten was born on August 15th 1857 which was later named “Kewpie” after her mother Kewpien who owned the estate where she was born. In 1958 Siamese were recognized by TICA International Cat Association which stands for Tabby Indian Breed Association which helps preserve this rare breed from extinction! Today there are only about 10 purebred Siamese left out there today due to crossbreeding over time however this doesn’t mean you can no longer find these beautiful creatures walking down your street because not all purebreds look exactly like their parents therefore some may look similar but still have slight differences such as color/pattern etc Siamese come in all shapes & sizes from tiny little things under 5 pounds up to 20+ pounds so if you want a big cuddle bug then you should go ahead & adopt one because they will definitely fit right into your family perfectly!!
A third kind of cat called Turkish Van is actually considered its own species separate from European Van since it looks nothing like European Van nor does it resemble any other kind of domestic feline therefore it must be classified separately hence why we call them Turkish Vans instead though technically speaking they do share some similarities such as having long legs & tails similar body structure etc…they do not, however, have any resemblance whatsoever when compared side by side so if someone asked me what kind those were I would say I had no idea what those were let alone classify them under another species so yeah those would probably fall under ‘other feline species category lololololol!!! Lastly, we have Persians who originated back during ancient times Persia used camels for transportation purposes thus how did these get mixed together well apparently Alexander The Great conquered Persia thus bringing along his army including his camels thus creating Persian lineage hence why Persians resemble camels quite heavily due mostly due to how long ago they originated from although nowadays most Persians don’t even resemble camels anymore since modern-day breeding techniques were introduced years ago nowadays Persian resembles more closely towards Asian Leopard Cats rather than actual Camels although again I wouldn't classify them under another species since again none match up side by side so if someone asked me what kind those were I would say I had no idea By: Jazmin S.
